Young at Art 2019 is an exceptional opportunity for Ottawa visual artists between the ages of 12 and 20 to gain recognition for their artistic efforts and abilities within their communities through the experience of a citywide, juried art exhibition.
Some of Ottawa’s best young artists will be recognized at Young at Art 2019 exhibitions, to be held at community galleries citywide. Works selected for Young at Art 2019 will be displayed beginning April 18, 2019. An opening reception will be held at each gallery to celebrate the artists who took part in the exhibition process. Awards for outstanding work in various categories from all three exhibitions will be presented at a citywide awards ceremony in the Chambers at Ben Franklin Place.
