The City of Ottawa’s Stage 2 Light Rail Project has shared the following information about upcoming work at Woodroffe Avenue and Richmond Road. In order to allow the ongoing replacement of underground water and sewer pipes as part of the Richmond Road Revitalization project, a temporary closure of Woodroffe Avenue North at Richmond Road will be required. This will impact access to the Kichi Zibi Mikan via Woodroffe Avenue a well as access to Richmond Road and Byron Avenue via Woodroffe Avenue north of Richmond.
Work is expected to begin by June 30, 2025 and will continue until September 2025.
