On the morning of April 16th, we gathered to celebrate the dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure these trails are safe, groomed, and accessible for everyone to enjoy. I am so proud of our trail volunteers.
Many of our trails were first envisioned during the pandemic, when we so desperately needed healthy outdoor spaces where people of all ages and means could safely get outside and connect with others. And they have continued to provide that restoring space that nurtures physical and mental health ever since.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of our volunteers. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Your commitment continues to feed our bodies, our souls and our communities, and we are so grateful to all of you. Please keep doing what you do!
