If you would like to return / recycle your eclipse glasses, bring them to any Ottawa Public Library (OPL) branch (or bookmobile stop) by April 30. OPL will be giving them to Astronomers Without Borders so that they can be re-used.
Your glasses will be vetted for safety and authenticity, and then packaged and stored for future distribution. There are two solar eclipses per year and Astronomers Without Borders will be actively seeking homes for the glasses.
