What do you do with leftover oil, grease or cooking fats?
Instead of pouring them down the drain – which you should never do – put them into a milk carton, paper or wax cup or wrap in paper products and dispose of it safely in your green bin. More at Ottawa.ca
Needles and lancets in the garbage puts your waste collector at risk of injury or illness. Please keep needles out of the garbage. Take them back to the pharmacy or a needle drop box.
