On December 13th, Councillor Kavanagh hosted City and Parsons’ staff for a presentation and discussion on the functional design prepared for Richmond Road’s renewal fo the road and sidewalk for the section from Bayshore to Pinecrest.

Background
Parsons has been contracted by the City of Ottawa to complete the functional design of Richmond Road from Bayshore Drive to Pinecrest Road. Construction is expected in 2022-2023. The new design is expected to include a combination of unidirectional and bidirectional cycling facilities throughout the corridor, as well as improved pedestrian facilities.
