On November 10th, 2021, the City hosted the 2nd PAC, Public Advisory Committee meeting to present the function design for the renewal of Richmond Rd from Bayshore to Pinecrest.
The next step is a public virtual open house. The date is still to be determined.
Background
Parsons has been contracted by the City of Ottawa to complete the functional design of Richmond Road from Bayshore Drive to Pinecrest Road. The new design is expected to include a combination of unidirectional and bidirectional cycling facilities throughout the corridor, as well as improved pedestrian facilities.
As part of this design project, Parsons will also undertake early concept development for a cycling facility from Pinecrest Road to Carling Avenue to inform future project definition and network planning. No implementation timeframe is currently identified for this segment.
