Chapters 1 – 3 were released July 26. Additional chapters and sections, such as Schedules, Annexes and Volume 2 will be published as they are revised. This staggered release provides the most time for review of each section. The chapters are being released with tracked changes regarding the changes made since the November 20, 2020 draft release.

The one-pagers have also been updated to provide a plain language, high level, overview of the key topics heard in the multi-year engagement with residents.

Next Steps
Feedback on the draft New Official Plan will continue to be collected, tracked and reviewed by the New Official Plan team up until the proposed policies go to Committee and Council. The New Official Plan will go to Council for approval in fall 2021. Once approved it will be sent to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing for adoption.
