Keep an eye out for volunteers at your grocery store during the Saturday and Sunday of the Thanksgiving long weekend. The Ottawa Food Bank volunteers will be out encouraging you to give generously to those who need help.
This year, many stores will have pre-packed bags to make donating even easier! If you don’t grab a pre-packed bag, you can always pick and pack the items you wish to donated yourself, as usual. Loblaws at the Carlingwood Mall will be participating Saturday, October 6: 1 – 5 PM and Sunday, October 7: 9 AM – 12 PM.

In addition to this, residents can also make donations to the Britannia Woods Food Pantry.
Food donations may be dropped off in person at the Britannia Woods Food Pantry between 10 AM and 5 PM, Mondays to Thursday. Get directions and contact details.
