On Saturday, October 29th, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Mayor Watson will host a safe Halloween event in support of the *Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Basics Program. The Baby Basics Program targets the most vulnerable members of our society, infants and toddlers, whose parents lack the resources to adequately provide for them. As a result of this program, expensive items such as formula, baby food and diapers are made available to assist families in need.
Come Trick or Treat with Mayor Jim Watson and your favourite costumed characters in the “Weird and Wonderful” Heritage Building where you will be welcomed by the Enchanted Witches of Elgin Street! Then head out to the Pumpkin Patch in the courtyard to decorate your very own miniature pumpkin! Have fun with roaming mascot characters, sure to bring you luck on Hallowe’en! See what’s brewing inside City Hall where you can meet your favourite, fun costumed characters in Jean Pigott Place and meet the Tooth Fairy in the main hallway!
*Admission is a donation to the Ottawa Food Bank’s Baby Basics Program.
