These upcoming projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:
Albert and Bay Street – From Friday October 25 at 7 pm to Sunday, October 27 at 10 pm, Albert Street will be closed from Lyon Street to Bronson Avenue, and Bay Street will be closed from Slater to Queen streets for the installation of a new gas main. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Cyclist can dismount their bicycle to use the sidewalk.
Highway 417 – From Monday, October 28 to Friday, November 1, Highway 417 will be reduced to two eastbound lanes between Carling and Parkdale avenues, nightly from 10 pm to 6 am, for the replacement of the Harmer Avenue pedestrian bridge main truss. The Parkdale Avenue off-ramp will remain open.
Longfields Drive – From Friday, October 25 until mid-December, the southbound left turn lane from Longfields Drive to Golflinks Drive will be closed to facilitate the construction of a roundabout. OC Transpo Route 175 will continue to turn left onto Golflinks Drive during the closure. Detour signage will be in place.
