Ottawa – Upcoming events and projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:
Highway 417 – From Friday, July 19 at 10 pm to Monday, July 22 at 6 am, and again from Friday, July 26 at 10 pm to Monday, July 29 at 6 am, the inside lane of Highway 417 will be closed in both directions between Nicholas Street and Queen Elizabeth Driveway, to replace the barrier wall.
Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard – The on-ramp from Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard northbound to Highway 174 westbound will be closed from 9 pm to 6 am daily, between Monday, July 15 and Friday, July 19, to allow for pavement resurfacing.
Wellington Street – Until Wednesday, September 4, Wellington Street westbound will be reduced to one lane between Elgin and Metcalfe streets, for sewer work. The north sidewalk between Elgin and Metcalfe streets will also be closed to pedestrians.

Bluesfest
- Parking lanes are closed along both sides of the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, between Booth Street and Vimy Place, until Friday, July 19.
- Parking lanes on Wellington Street are closed between Booth and Lett streets until Monday, July 15.
- There will be limited access to the Sir John A. Macdonald multi-use pathway behind the Canadian War Museum. Follow the signed detour.
HOPE Volleyball SummerFest: On Saturday, July 13, motorists should expect disruptions and delays near Mooney’s Bay Beach due to the annual HOPE Volleyball SummerFest.
Ottawa REDBLACKS game: On Saturday, July 13, motorists should expect increased traffic and pedestrian activity at Lansdowne due to the Ottawa REDBLACKS game.
