September 10, 2020 – The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:
- Highway 417 westbound on-ramp at Nicholas Street will be closed from Thursday, September 10 at 11 pm until Friday, September 11 at 5 am and from Friday, September 11 at 11 pm until Saturday, September 12 at 5 am for paving.
- Carling Avenue – Carling Avenue at the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway will have lane reductions in both directions from Friday, September 11 at 10 pm until Sunday, September 13 at 10 pm for bridge renewal work. Pedestrian, cyclist and motorist access will be maintained.
- Eagleson Road – Eagleson Road between Fallowfield and Flewellyn roads will be closed from Friday, September 11 at 7 pm until Monday, September 14 at 6 am for culvert replacement. Local access will be maintained and a signed detour will be in place for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians from Fallowfield Road to Shea and Flewellyn roads.
- Queen Elizabeth Driveway – Queen Elizabeth Driveway between Laurier and Fifth avenues will no longer be closed daily to motorists after Monday, September 7. It will be closed to motorists on weekends from 8 am to 4 pm from Saturday, September 12 until Sunday, September 27. Motorists can cross Queen Elizabeth Driveway from the Pretoria Bridge to access Pretoria Avenue. Access for emergency vehicles and OC Transpo buses will be maintained. This closure is part of the National Capital Commission’s pilot project to facilitate physical distancing.
- Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway – Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway between Carling Avenue and Booth Street is closed to motorists on weekends from 8 am to 4 pm until Sunday, September 27. This closure is part of the National Capital Commission’s pilot project to facilitate physical distancing.
- Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway – Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway between Aviation Parkway and St. Joseph Boulevard is closed to motorists on weekends from 8 am to 4 pm until Sunday, September 27. This closure is part of the National Capital Commission’s pilot project to facilitate physical distancing.
- Anderson Road – Anderson Road near Dolman Ridge Road will have off-peak lane reductions in both directions from Monday, September 14 to Friday, September 25 for guiderail replacement. Traffic controllers will be on site for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. Local access will be maintained.
