The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:
Winterlude – Queen Elizabeth Driveway will close between Preston and Somerset streets on Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2 from 9:30 am to 6 pm, to accommodate the OLG Sno-Bus.
Motorists should also expect lane encroachments until Friday, February 21 on the following streets:
- Metcalfe Street, between Wellington and Sparks streets
- O’Connor Street, between Wellington and Queen streets
Montreal Road – There will be lane reductions on Montreal Road eastbound, from Montgomery Street to Vanier Parkway, between 9 am and 3:30 pm until Friday, February 7 for the Montreal Road Revitalization project. Montreal Road eastbound is reduced to one lane at the intersection of Montreal and North River roads. South of Montreal Road, North River Road is closed in the southbound direction until Friday, February 21. Detour signs for traffic and pedestrians are in place.
