Ottawa – Upcoming events and projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:
Blair Road – The eastbound on and off-ramps at Blair Road and Highway 174 will be closed nightly to resurface the pavement, from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12, between 9 pm and 6 am.
Elgin Street –The Somerset Street West crossing at Elgin Street is closed for approximately 13 weeks for underground utility work and intersection reconstruction. Cooper Street is open to route eastbound traffic across Elgin Street and MacLaren Street is open to route westbound traffic. The Gladstone Avenue crossing at Elgin Street remains closed, with Frank Street open in its place. Visit traffic impacts for additional information and detour maps.
Greenbank Road – Until Monday, August 26, Greenbank Road will be closed between Half Moon Bay Road and Jockvale Road to renew the Greenbank Road bridge.
Montreal Road – For two weeks beginning Monday, July 8, there will be temporary daytime lane reductions at the eastbound Montreal Road and southbound Vanier Parkway intersection for utility work to revitalize Montreal Road.
Nicholas Street – From Monday, July 8 at 10 pm to Tuesday, July 9 at 6 am the Nicholas Street On-ramp eastbound to Highway 417 will be closed to complete pavement markings.
Wellington Street – From Wednesday, July 10 to Wednesday, September 4, Wellington Street will be reduced to one lane westbound between Elgin Street and Metcalfe Street for sewer work. The North sidewalk between Elgin Street and Metcalfe will also be closed to pedestrians.

Bluesfest, July 4 to 14
- Parking lanes on both sides of the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway between Booth Street and Vimy Place are closed until Friday, July 19.
- Parking lanes on Wellington Street between Booth Street and Lett Street will be closed from Thursday, July 4 at 6 am until Monday, July 15.
There will be limited access to the Sir John A. Macdonald multi-use pathway behind the Canadian War Museum. Follow the signed detour.
