These upcoming projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:
Highway 417 –From Saturday, October 19 at 6 pm until Sunday, October 20 at 11 am, a section of Highway 417 will be closed in both directions between Bronson and Carling avenues to install the main span of the Harmer Avenue pedestrian bridge. Lane reductions will start on Saturday at 5 pm, followed by the full closure at 6 pm. The eastbound on-ramps to the highway will be closed at Carling, Parkdale and Maitland Avenues. The westbound on-ramps to the highway will be closed at Bronson Avenue, Rochester Street, Parkdale Avenue, Lyon Street and O’Connor Street. Lees Avenue – On Thursday, October 17, weather permitting, the Lees Avenue on-ramp to Highway 417 eastbound will reopen. The Nicholas Street on-ramp to Highway 417 eastbound will be closed from Wednesday, October 16 at 11 pm until Thursday, October 17 at 5 am to accommodate the reopening.
