I met with the Ottawa Police Superintendent to discuss public safety in Bay Ward. One of topics that we discussed was traffic enforcement. I was shown a map that indicated Bay Ward’s traffic hotspots. The hotspots help the police prioritize areas for enforcement. The determining data comes from residents submitting official complaints.
The Superintendent emphasized that it is very important for residents to file complaints so that the data can be collected and considered for enforcement.
