During construction for the next few years Byron will generally be an open excavation. As such the sidewalk on the south side of Byron is currently under construction so that when the Byron Linear Park closes pedestrians and kids on bikes have somewhere to safely be.
Once construction is completed, the Byron Linear Park will have a winding pathway from approximately Richardson to Cleary. That pathway, the unidirectional cycle tracks and the sidewalks on Richmond and Byron will all be available for different modes of active transportation.
