The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) will commence a detail design study in the Summer of 2022 for the replacement of the Highway 417 Richmond Road structure. A website will be developed as part of that study for public inquiries and input at that time. The bridge replacement is tentatively scheduled for 2025 subject to EA, funding and other regional priorities.
