A storm sewer requires an unforeseen repair along the Sir John A MacDonald Parkway at Woodroffe Avenue. It is important that the City complete this investigation and repair work in a timely manner.
The work will take place in two phases:
- an estimated one-week repair the week of February 28th; and
- landscaping reinstatement in early spring.
For safety reasons, the north multi-use pathway along the Ottawa River at Woodroffe Avenue will need to be closed during the investigation and repair work. Pathway users will not be able to pass through the site, however, the pathway east and west of the construction site will remain open for residents to enjoy.
Traffic Impacts
The work will also require temporary lane reductions westbound on the SJAM at Woodroffe.
Maintaining our infrastructure is of critical importance to the City and resident’s safety is our priority. The City appreciates everyone’s patience during this necessary inconvenience.
