We received notice from the City’s construction team that KEV unexpectedly found some rock in the area that they are digging for the sewer relocation, and as a result are hoe-ramming to excavate it out. This work may be very loud for the nearest residents.
Despite extensive ground investigations prior to beginning work in this area, crews have been finding ground conditions that change significantly/rapidly within very short distances. For example, finding no water where they expected it. For this reason it’s difficult to estimate how long they will need to hoe-ram.
