As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, crews will be working overnight to construct the structure for the tunnel from Bayshore Station to Bayshore Shopping Centre.
- WHAT: Secant pile drilling for the construction of the tunnel which will connect Bayshore Station to the Bayshore Shopping Centre will occur during daytime and nighttime hours.
- WHEN: Thursday, December 8 to Friday, December 23, 2022, weekdays and weekends.
- WHY: Night work is required as these works are schedule critical on the delivery of this large and complex project.
- WHERE: Bayshore Station.
ANTICIPATED IMPACTS
Noise and vibration from trucks and heavy equipment is expected.
Site lighting for overnight work will be required. Crews will place and/or direct the light to mitigate impact on residents.
Pedestrian and cyclist mobility will not be impacted.
