Carling Avenue, Connaught Avenue to Lincoln Fields Station Bus Entrance
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, Carling Avenue will be partially closed nightly to vehicles east of Connaught Avenue to west of the entranceway to the Lincoln Fields Station bus entrance.
WHAT: Full closure of Carling Avenue eastbound, and one lane closure of Carling Avenue westbound.
WHEN: Nightly from Thursday, November 24, 2022 to Friday, November 25, 2022 and Sunday, November 27, 2022 to Tuesday, November 29, 2022 between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
WHY: The closure of lanes along Carling Avenue is required to complete the crossing of three major utilities required for guideway construction.
WHERE: Carling Avenue between Connaught Avenue to the Lincoln Fields Station bus station entrance.
ANTICIPATED IMPACTS
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
