Anticipated Impacts
Motorists and cyclists should heed all roadway signage in place through construction zones. Noise and vibration from crews and heavy equipment may be expected. All construction vehicles and equipment, working overnight will be equipped with broadband back-up alarms. Trucks use approved haul routes and workers and contractors park in designated parking areas.
Generators are required to run equipment in the tunnels and at site offices. When possible, generators are wrapped in noise barriers.
Site lighting is required to maintain safe working conditions for workers. The use of lights will be minimized where possible and special attention paid to ensure that it is not impacting nearby residences.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
