Cut and Cover/Parkway Tunnel – 747 Richmond Road across Richmond Road to the Byron Tunnel
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, Cut and Cover tunnel construction operations will be ongoing in the Cut and Cover Tunnel across Richmond Road, at Cleary Avenue. Daytime and overnight work is required to accommodate various operations occurring simultaneously and to minimize project delays. Activity during the day and night will include hoisting work using cranes, welding operations, and excavation. As well, generators, pumps and heaters will be operating, to support construction.
My office held a meeting last week with residents from 75 Cleary and the residents of McKellar Park that will be most affected by this work. You can review that Stage 2 presentation here.
