Notice of Ramp Opening: Highway 417 at Greenbank Road
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from northbound Greenbank Road will be re-opened to traffic.
What: Re-opening of the westbound Highway 417 on-ramp from northbound Greenbank Road.
When: Friday, December 13, 2024.
Why: Completion of works along the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from northbound
Greenbank Road.
Where: Highway 417 at Greenbank Road.
Dec 16-17 Notice of Overnight Ramp Closure: Highway 417 at Richmond Road
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling southbound on Richmond Road at Highway 417 should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What: The Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from southbound Richmond Road will be fully closed to traffic overnight.
When: Monday, December 16 and Tuesday, December 17 nightly from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Why: Security fence installation at Bayshore Station.
Where: Highway 417 at Richmond Road.
Revitalizing Richmond Road Pedestrian Map – Revised 2024-12-09
The Richmond Road Pedestrian Map, shows current access for pedestrians from McEwen Avenue to Cleary Avenue. The map has been revised from the previous version prepared on 2024-12-02 to reflect that the sidewalk south of Richmond Road west of Richardson Avenue is now continuous after KEV’s work in the area on 2024-12-06.
