Potholes
Many of you are noticing the abundance of potholes on your streets. It’s that time of the year for freeze/thaw cycles can result in more potholes.
We encourage you, if you see a pothole to report a pothole, residents can create a service request online. This will streamline the process to have it investigated by crews and filled.
The Roads and Parking Services team has begun pothole repairs across the city. Crews were deployed this week, and they will continue to work over the weekend and into next week. A more wholesome update will be provided to you next week on the planned activities and their response to pothole filling.
Catch Basins
Regardless of the time of year, residents can help keep catch basins clear and the water flowing. It is normal for water to pool around a catch basin in wet weather. Roads are designed to drain based on storm sewer capacity. Water pooling around a catch basin during wet weather is normal and part of how roads are designed to drain based on sewer capacity.
You can create a service request to report:
Blocked catch basin or maintenance hole
