Working with artist Claudia Salguero and her assistant Gabriel Sebastian Cruz Hernandez, youth from Bay ward helped to design and paint a mural that will be installed in the next few days alongside the beautiful mural by local artist Kalkidran. The official unveiling will happen on Saturday September 30th at 2880 Carling Avenue just across from Britannia Woods at 4:30 pm. I invite residents to come by and celebrate this beautiful contribution to the community.
In addition to Claudia and Gabriel Sebastian, the 2023 Mural Team was supported by a great team of staff from the Boys and Girls Club, Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre, Starlight Investments and the City of Ottawa.
