It’s been a difficult time for our local businesses. Let’s give them a boost where we can.
Here are few simple things we can do to help:
- Use our social media to encourage and challenge our followers to shop locally. For example, post photos of yourself shopping at small businesses in Bay Ward. Use the #SmallBusinessEveryDay hashtag so it will get lots of shares.
- Encourage people to go to SmallBusinessEveryDay.ca to nominate their favourite small businesses to win up to $10,000 between June 28 and July 25. Every week, they’ll draw one customer and their favourite business to win! Check out the details online.
- Promote your favourite shop local campaign using the #SmallBusinessEveryDayon all platforms to make it easy to find all the great shop local campaigns.
