The City of Ottawa has identified the sidewalk along Richmond Road (part north, part south) between Carling Avenue to 130m East of Poulin Avenue to be renewed due to its poor conditions and substandard width. The existing asphalt sidewalk will be replaced with concrete and widened to 1.8m-2.0m. Design has commenced with construction planned for Summer 2022, subject to approval of construction funding in the 2022 budget. Additional details will follow as the design progresses.
