Electrical service improvements Hydro Ottawa will be undertaking in Bay Ward. The project involves the installation of a duct structure crossing Richmond Road. This work is necessary to maintain the reliability of the electricity distribution system in the area.
Work on this project is scheduled to commence on July 15, 2019 and continue until July 26, 2019. Residents may also notice increased construction throughout the duration of the project.
Traffic control will be implemented to ensure that roads, sidewalks, and bike lanes, remain accessible and safe to residents. In order to minimize noise concerns, we will ensure the majority of the work is completed between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Planned power interruptions are not expected to occur as a result of this project.
