The City’s Community and Protective Services Committee received a preliminary draft of the City’s first combined Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan.
The plan recommends parklands and recreation facilities needed to serve residents through 2031, based on current inventory, population projections, engagement input and priority neighbourhood needs. Staff will consult on the draft over the coming weeks and present a final report to Committees and Council in September.
