As part of its regular maintenance work, the National Capital Commission (NCC) will be removing eight dead trees and branches located in the western part of the Mud Lake area.
The work will be undertaken during the week of February 11, 2019, between 7 am and 5 pm, weather permitting, and should take two days to complete. The pathway will remain open, and signage will be in place to inform users that a crew will be working on the site.
The work crew will be using minimal forestry equipment. This work is taking place in a forested area, and cut trees will be left on-site to decompose on forest floor.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the NCC’s client services at 613-239-5000 or info@ncc-ccn.ca.
