There is still plenty of summer left, so let’s dive into #OttCity’s Learn-to-Swim program!
Don’t miss checking out our revised dates and fees on Monday, July 12. Registration also begins Monday, at 9 pm!
Let’s get swimming!
While we are still in Step Two of the provincial reopening plan, we are getting ready to dive into Step Three when we can open our indoor pools and start our Learn-to-Swim lessons.
On Friday, July 9, check out the revised eGuides and dates for our summer Learn-to-Swim lessons. Registration will start on Monday, July 12 at 9 pm. When registering, fees will be adjusted to reflect the delay in start dates. Classes are projected to begin the week of July 26.
The Learn-to-Swim programs for all levels and ages will be offered in English and French at select locations. It’s important to note that, in order to support physical distancing, a parent or guardian is still required to be in the water with their child for all preschool levels and Swim Kids levels one to four.
Registration is easy. Explore the updated eGuides starting Friday, July 9 and mark your calendar to register Monday, July 12 at 9pm:
- Go to ottawa.ca and browse the summer recreation eGuides or visit JoinOttawa to find a course.
- Click the relevant barcode – it will take you to the course page, with details about the number of spaces available, fees and dates.
- Add the class to your cart and then proceed through the checkout. We will email you your receipt.
Stay tuned in the coming days for more information on Step Three reopening information. We are looking forward to when we can open our doors and welcome you and your family back in-person.
