It was my privilege to attend the Regina Towers Welcome Summer Celebration BBQ on Thursday afternoon. The rain held off long enough for everyone to gather together for a lovely BBQ lunch, play some activities and share some moments of reflection. Reverend Steve Zink of the Ottawa West Community Chaplaincy lead a Celebration of Life, where 11 candles were lit, for the tenants that passed away at Regina Towers over the past 2 years during the pandemic. We also celebrated the incredible resilience that the tenants showed during this difficult time. Thank you Ottawa Community Housing for organizing this event and to our partner Ottawa Public Health for participating.
