Starting March 22nd, the City through Rain Ready will be supporting rain barrel fundraising sales by encouraging community groups, community associations, school groups, and youth groups to hold rain barrel fundraisers. These are an excellent way for these groups to raise funds for their own activities, while also supporting the City of Ottawa’s rain ready goals of building up resiliency to rain fall events and reducing the harmful impacts of rainfall and stormwater runoff.
The City of Ottawa through its Rain Ready Program is collaborating with rainbarrel.ca to support community organizations in running rain barrel fundraisers. A rain barrel fundraiser is a great way to raise funds for your cause and help residents of Ottawa make better use of rainwater. You can raise $10 or more for every rain barrel you sell through these easy to set up and run fundraisers.
