Join City of Ottawa staff for an exciting presentation on two homeowner programs that help you build climate resiliency and reduce your carbon footprint! Staff will first present on Rain Ready Ottawa, a program to help limit the impact of stormwater on your property and on the Ottawa River watershed. Learn about the benefits of raingardens and permeable pavement, and the resources available to you to start you on your rain ready journey.
Following that, staff will provide information on the Better Homes Ottawa program. The Better Homes Ottawa Loan Program provides Ottawans with low-cost, long-term financing to support a range of home improvements. This program can help you install a range of energy efficiency, climate resiliency and general home upgrades to make your home more comfortable, affordable and environmentally friendly.
