The City is moving forward with an Emergency Storm Sewer replacement on Monday June 10th, 2019. The storm sewer is at the north end of Boyce and flows to the east towards Scrivens Street along a park type pathway (see picture). The sewer length is approximately 100 meters. Our contractor KCE construction, is anticipated be on site on Monday the 10th of June.
The lands to the north of the pathway are NCC and they have been notified of the proposed work. The works will allow the diesel generator and sewer pumps to be removed that have been in operation at the north end of Boyce for past several weeks.
The walkway as indicated in the picture above will be closed during construction. Pedestrian and Traffic Control will be provided. Notices will be delivered to locals residents tomorrow or Monday morning. There will be some local traffic disruptions for residents, however they will be minor and short term. If private driveway parking is impacted, affected residents will be provided with overnight parking passes.
