On Friday March 1st at 3pm, my office along with, College Ward, and Knoxdale-Merivale Ward will be hosting the team at Voice Found, a local non-profit organization, for an important presentation exploring the issue of human trafficking.
For over 12 years, Voice Found has supported survivors of childhood sexual abuse and human trafficking in Ottawa. As the need for awareness grows, we are working with Voice Found to deliver a one-hour presentation. This informational presentation will explore the definition of human trafficking, the impact in Ottawa, how to take action, and resources available for support. The presentation will be delivered by Voice Found’s dedicated staff, and will conclude with a Q&A.
