Lenester Avenue and Maitland Avenue to be impacted by work
The week of November 7, 2022, Hydro Ottawa will be transferring electrical equipment to new poles that will impact customers on Lenester Avenue and Maitland Avenue. This work will result in planned power outages.
You may notice increased construction presence throughout the day, including construction vehicles. Traffic control and lane reductions may be implemented throughout the day to ensure that roads remain safe for residents and staff.
As mentioned above, planned power outages are required as a result of this work. Customers impacted by the power outage will be notified by phone, text, and/or email. Customers will also receive a written notice delivered to their door where applicable. Further, notifications will be provided if the power outage is to extend beyond the original duration time. In case of adverse weather, the outage may be rescheduled.
