Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre (PQCHC) and the services and supports that they carry out are highly informed by the residents they serve. PQCHC are in the process of carrying out a community-wide Needs Assessment to further understand the needs and emerging issues in our community.
As a valued member of the community, they would like to hear from you. You are invited to participate in a focus group sponsored by PPQCHC, supported by the Ottawa Neighborhood Study (ONS). This focus group aims to learn more about current community needs. The information learned in this focus group will inform current and future community engagement, programs and services provided by PQCHC.
There are numerous focus groups being held across the PQCHC catchment.
The focus group discussions cover the areas of Access to Primary Care, Housing, Food Security, Low-Income and Employment, Community Safety and Security, and Community Connections and Wellbeing. Please register to participate in one or two of the focus group discussions at a location of your convenience by following this link: www.pqchc.com/focus. Pre-registration is required.
The focus group discussions will run for 2 hours in groups of 6 – 12 individuals. A moderator will ask you several questions while facilitating the discussion and a note-taker will be present. Your responses will remain confidential, and no names will be included in the final report.
$20 gift cards will be provided to participants for their time. Transportation and childcare options will be considered.
