Nominations have begun for the 67th Annual Ottawa Sports Awards Ceremony, the largest and most inclusive amateur sport recognition event in Canada. Sporting Communities are invited to nominate outstanding athletes, teams and coaches that have won championships at the provincial, national or world levels in 2019; and are also encouraged to submit candidates with a minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience in their sport to be considered for the Lifetime Achievement Awards as listed below:
• Mayor’s Cup for outstanding contribution to local sport
• Lifetime Award for a Coach
• Lifetime Award for a Volunteer/Administrator
• Lifetime Award for an Official

Nominations can be made on-line at: ottawasportsawards.ca/nomination-form.
Nominations must be submitted on or before November 15 to be considered for this year’s award ceremony. If you experience any issues with the nomination form, please email ottawasportsawards@gmail.com with your nomination. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Every candidate nominated for these prestigious honours will be seriously considered by the Ottawa Sports Awards Selection Committee with the aim of having final decisions made by mid-December. The Committee’s intention is to inform all selected winners by December 31.
