The Ottawa River Canoe Club is having its open house on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 12:00-6:00pm.
The ORCC is a non-profit canoe and kayak club founded in 2001, that strives to provide canoe, kayak, paddleboard, and dragon boat programs to community members in West Ottawa. Some of our notable programs include our PaddleAll program, a kayaking program for participants with intellectual disabilities, and our Para Paddle program, for individuals with physical disabilities. In 2021, our athlete Brianna Hennessy competed at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in the Single Kayak and Single Va’a.
The canoe club is located in Dunrobin on the beautiful Ottawa River, and runs spring, summer, and fall programs suitable for all ages and skill levels. Our open house will offer tours of the canoe club, information about programs and memberships, including our most popular programs, our summer camps.
