There is an upcoming scheduled immunization clinic at:
St. Rose of Lima School (50 Bayshore Drive)
Tuesday, May 16, 2023
4:15 pm to 7 pm
To increase routine childhood immunization coverage, Ottawa Public Health (OPH) is holding approximately 25 immunization clinics in select elementary schools this Spring. The schools were selected based on data that reflects low immunization rates for children and youth both at the school and in the surrounding area.
Clinics will offer the three vaccinations typically administered by schools to grade 7 students, including the human papillomavirus, hepatitis B and meningococcal vaccines. The clinics are open to those up to 18 years of age, including children and youth who either attend the school or live in the nearby community. Parents and guardians are not required to make an appointment for their children to be vaccinated and are welcome to accompany their children to the school clinic. Along with the 25 school clinics, routine childhood vaccinations will continue to be offered through the OPH Neighbourhood Health and Wellness Hubs and through Family and Community Vaccination Clinics located across the city.
The Parenting in Ottawa website also contains additional information on clinic locations, dates, times, and eligibility.
