The Ottawa Police Services Board (OPSB) and the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) are asking residents to provide their feedback to help us determine priorities in line with our annual budget. They encourage everyone who lives in Ottawa to participate to let them know how they can best invest our resources.
Leading the consultation process, the OPS’ Strategic Partnerships and Engagement Unit will work closely with DiversiPro, who has been hired to specifically support engagement efforts to address the concerns of marginalized and racialized communities.
In addition to registering for our Community Consultation, they welcome you to participate in the online public survey.
Ottawa is a diverse community, and to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to be heard, they are offering the public online survey in eight different languages: English, French, Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Somali and Spanish.
- Beginning September 1, please visit ottawapolice.ca/2022Budget and click the appropriate language link.
- Ottawa is a diverse community, and we want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to be heard about their views on policing and the 2022 budget. Share your thoughts on September 14 from 4-7 pm at our virtual Community Consultation.
Members of the OPSB and the OPS Executive Team are committed to listen and learn about what is important to the people who work and live in our neighbourhoods.
