I had the honour of speaking with Claudette Commands and John Concannon, Irish Ambassador last night at St. Brigid’s Centre for the Performing Arts. This is part of the Bronze Shoes initiative that I brought to city council to honor Indigenous help for the Irish Famine victims fleeing to Ottawa in 1847.
