Residents encouraged to cheer on father and son as they walk through Bay Ward
Next Friday at 2:30pm I invite residents to come out to Corkstown Road and make some noise to encourage and cheer on Greg McPherson and his son Aaron as they continue their journey to walk 100km across the City of Ottawa, touching all 24 ward boundaries, in support of youth mental health.
The goal of “On The Road 4 Mental Health” is to raise awareness to the growing mental health and addictions crisis. The walk will conclude Saturday, June 3 at Ottawa City Hall. This campaign not only is to raise awareness but a fundraiser to benefit Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa to help provide for the increasing demand for services in our City.
