I’d like to share information about an upcoming community health event in your neighbourhood.
The Ottawa Community Paramedics have partnered with the Pinecrest Queensway Community Health Centre to deliver a Wellness Clinic for Older Adults. In this model of care, registered participants receive an individually tailored health assessment. Based on findings, individuals are then connected with community and health resources for ongoing care. This service began in OCH buildings and at the Ambleside towers, which received positive press in the Ottawa Citizen here. The model was also discussed at the Nov 21st EPPS Committee Meeting. Thanks to the space provided by the Carlingwood Library, we are now offering this service to the general public.
The next event will be Dec 18th from 1:30 – 4:30 at the Carlingwood Library (281 Woodroffe Ave)
