Last week I was pleased to participate in the unveiling of Ottawa Community Housing’s Regina Towers newly renovated community kitchen.
This project was made possible support from funders PCL Construction through their Hard Hat Heroes Neighbourhood Improvement Grant, administered by United Way East Ontario. The tenants of Regina Towers also helped raise money to contribute to the $50,000 renovation. This new accessible space includes new cupboards and working space.
Regina Towers, located near the Ottawa River and Britannia Park community, is home to 258 residents many of whom are seniors.
