The 39th Annual OC Transpo-Loblaw Christmas Food Drive will take place tomorrow Saturday, December 9, from 10 am to 5 pm. at the Carlingwood Mall Loblaws. Carlingwood is just one of 24 locations across the City where residents can support this amazing event. Residents can grab a paper bag on their way into the store from one of the volunteer greeters and fill it with some of the items that are most needed, or you can make a cash donation at the cash register.
Since 1984, this food drive has raised over three million pounds of food and thousands of dollars, becoming the most important single-day food drive for food banks in Ottawa. The team at OC Transpo is very excited to be leading the event again this year.
